These are the most common questions we are asked in regard to IMPAIR AWARE™ Alcohol Level Indication System.
WHAT ARE THE BEST LOCATIONS?
High traffic, popular venues that are open 7 days per week, are ideal, but not necessary features of an establishment that is suited to house an IMPAIR AWARE™ Alcohol Level Indication System.
Restaurants, clubs, taverns, sports bars, pubs, nightclubs, discos, pool halls, adult clubs, beer festivals, concerts and similar establishments that serve alcohol.
Some venues may be large enough to feature more than one machine. Placing them in areas that are not “in the way” of traffic is better as some people prefer to operate the machine without being highly visible, although being seen will not bother the majority of drinkers. Do not try to place an I.A. machine right on the bar
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I EXPECT TO EARN USING THE IMPAIR AWARE™ ALCOHOL LEVEL INDICATION SYSTEM?
You should be earning no less than $100 per month at any location. A good location will earn $200 to $400 a month. That’s between $2,400 to $4,800 a year from one machine. A special event such as Cinco De Mayo or St. Patrick’s Day may earn several hundred dollars in a single day. If your revenue is not as high as you would like after a one-month trial, we recommend relocating the machine to a more suitable and user-friendly location within the venue. If your machine does not have the revenue that you desire after a three-month trial period, we recommend you relocate your machine to an alternate venue. The amount that you can earn monthly depends on how many machines you place in suitable locations. This opportunity has no limit to the amount of revenue you can earn. Providing an IMPAIR AWARE™Alcohol Level Indication System is a truly win-win cash business for everyone involved. We look forward to you joining us in the growing success of the IMPAIR AWARE™ Alcohol Level Indication System. Demonstrating the machine in person is the best way for you to show the machines functionality as well as its amusement factor.
By letting the owner try the machine for the first time, you will secure a good location and win the bar owner's confidence. A potentially good location can be lost if the distributor is not prepared to answer the key questions as well as "DEMONSTRATE THE MACHINE."
WILL MY SALES DECREASE?
No! in fact, having an IMPAIR AWARE™ machine in an establishment sometimes increases the drinks per customer ratio. Some people find that they can drink more over time and remain safe by monitoring their B.A.C. Also, patrons often decide to continue drinking while they arrange for alternate transportation to take them safely home.
LEGAL ISSUES
IMPAIR AWARE™ results are not recorded. There is no printed record of the test.
Additionally, the machine carries a legal disclaimer, which indicates that the results are hearsay as far as the law is concerned. The machine’s results do not indicate that a person is ever okay to drive. The machine only states their blood alcohol level numerically. It draws attention to their impairment and suggests they wait or avoid driving until they are not over the legal limit. The disclaimer informs its user that they are responsible for their decisions, regardless of the results of the self- administered test. Additionally, no self-administered B.A.C. test can be used against a person in a court of law. In fact, in order for a breath alcohol test to be admissible as evidence, it would have to be administered by an expert in a controlled setting. That is why the police have specific policies and procedures for administering BAC tests.
GOOD WILL
IMPAIR AWARE™ use is clearly a win-win relationship for all. Your customers appreciate you caring about their safety. Your bartenders can avoid confrontation with customers who seem intoxicated patrons by asking them to pass the test before serving them another drink. Having an IMPAIR AWARE™ machine in your establishment can protect you and your venue from third party liquor liability lawsuits. Encouraging patrons to test their sobriety level before driving is a proactive measure that impresses law enforcement personnel. Offering a B.A.C. testing device indicates you have offered responsible assistance at the point of their consumption. The Impair Aware Alcohol Level Indication System transfers your liability for actions of your patrons and places it where it belongs, on the shoulders of the driver.
